Salt Spring Island Public Library

Open Monday through Friday 10-5PM, and Saturday 10-3PM. The library has a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, audiobooks, movies, large print and E-books, a huge Children's Area, and internet access. A free Library FabLab enables patrons to create a huge range of interesting toys, beautiful things, or useful objects. Many free services and resources are available for patrons in-person and from their home computer. A diverse range of free programs weekly and monthly, free day camps over summer and spring break, and free events for adults, teens and children. Also offers a free Visiting Library Service for homebound patrons. A popular place for community-minded adults and teens to volunteer. With something for everyone, the Library is a great place to warm up or cool down while connecting with community and resources.
