The BC Children’s Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre provides mental health and substance use information and resources, assistance navigating the mental health system, as well as free personalized support from parent peer support workers. Services are available to families across BC and Yukon with children and youth up to age 24, by phone, email, virtual meeting, and in person at The Kelty Centre. Morning Glory is a home-based Waldorf initiative operating throughout the year. Ages 3-7, Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Creating an enriching creative experience for children and families. There is an emphasis on rhythm to the day. Play is sacred here; this can be the children's first choice of activity or they can choose from chopping vegetables, baking, sweeping, painting or the craft of the day. We have several festivals a year which we work towards with crafts and all the families come and celebrate together. We spend 1-2 hours outside every day regardless of weather and have 3 amazing possibilities; a beach walk, a farm/forest/marsh hike or a rainforest adventure, all 5 minutes from the door. more info
