TSS is a community-led response to climate change and oil dependancy. We are a registered BC non-profit society and part of the global Transition Town movement. TSS supports community members whose vision is to work together to create resilience and vibrancy in our community. TSS projects, initiatives and events encourage environmentally sustainable practices and methods, including: organic food production, renewable energy, green building technologies, alternative transportation, water conservation, waste-avoidance, and green business practices. Urgent Care
Crisis support assessment, referral and follow-up are available through Lady Minto Hospital Emergency room from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm provided by Island Health’s Mental Health Nurse.more info

The Vancouver Island Crisis Line offers 24-hour crisis line service to Vancouver Island, the islands of the Georgia Strait, and the mainland communities between Powell River and Rivers Inlet, as defined by Island Health.more info
