Travel Treatment Fund
The Canadian Cancer Society provides limited, short-term financial assistance to cover a portion of cancer-related transportation and accommodation expenses.
In addition, through a partnership with the BC Cancer Agency, assistance is available for a portion of the cost of selected prescription medications that manage symptoms related to cancer treatment.

If you’re a resident of Canada, 18 years and older, who has been diagnosed with cancer, or you’re caring for someone with cancer, you can speak over the phone with a trained volunteer who has gone through a similar experience. Our volunteers are specially trained cancer survivors or caregivers with a wide range of cancer experiences and life stories who can share insights and ideas for coping during your cancer experience. You’ll have the chance to talk with a peer who will listen with empathy and respect. And you’ll have an opportunity to gain hope and encouragement by hearing someone else’s story. |
Run to Quit pairs the quitting expertise of the Canadian Cancer Society with Running Room’s learn to walk or run 5km clinics. The program greatly increases a person’s chances of quitting smoking while raising their physical activity level. |

Offering a wide range of donated wigs, headwear, permanent prostheses and bras to cancer patients throughout BC who have undergone surgery and cannot afford the cost of a wig or prosthesis. |
