If you’re a resident of Canada, 18 years and older, who has been diagnosed with cancer, or you’re caring for someone with cancer, you can speak over the phone with a trained volunteer who has gone through a similar experience. Our volunteers are specially trained cancer survivors or caregivers with a wide range of cancer experiences and life stories who can share insights and ideas for coping during your cancer experience. You’ll have the chance to talk with a peer who will listen with empathy and respect. And you’ll have an opportunity to gain hope and encouragement by hearing someone else’s story. more info

Run to Quit pairs the quitting expertise of the Canadian Cancer Society with Running Room’s learn to walk or run 5km clinics. The program greatly increases a person’s chances of quitting smoking while raising their physical activity level.more info

I have been helping children, teenagers and adults with their mental health concerns since 1987. If you are looking for support in managing issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, parenting, school, or addiction, or are a partner of an addict needing support, I have experience in helping you and families navigate a path forward. My clients often feel stuck or out of control, and anxiety can often lead to depression and other mental health challenges. Together we can unpack your stressors and concerns, and develop an individualized treatment plan. I currently provide in person and online sessions.more info
